Weekly recap

Weekly Recap:

August 9-15, 2026

Haii, so let's catch up!

This week I finally got to finish my exams for my summer school. During the exams, I went to this amazing cafe called Motiq. Motiq is known for a stylish cafe with a large patio, ton of tables, free wifi, providing breakfast and lunch options. Therefore, they are also known for their delicious drinks and my favorite drink would be the "Matcha x Matcha cream top." My another recommendation is the turkey sandwich and its very healthy with the salad on the side, sourdough bread, avocado and much more on it. If you're looking for a place to study, chill with your friends or family, free parking and outlets to charge your devices, Motiq is the definitely place for you.

On a Friday night, my sister invited me to her place to do a potluck with her friends and watch a movie. One thing you should know about me is that my sister and I are very close to each other. We tell every secrets, every little details, travel together, watch movies and so much more. Therefore, We all brought wine, cheesecake, wings, pizza, popcorn,  cookies and sodas! It was amazing time because we got to laugh with each other, catch up on things and eat together as well. The movie we were watching was Pearl. Pearl is a girl who is trapped on farm with her parents and she dreams for this glamorous life that she has seen in movies. Pearl will do anything to get her dreams but it turns into psychological horror movie. I definitely give this movie a 8.5/10 because it's funny, scary and amazing landscape scenery.

Song recommendation: Art of War by Avenoir, Alternative R&B genre and its uses the battlefield as a metaphor to describe the emotional tension, vulnerability and defensive struggles to modern romantic relationships.

Looking forward this upcoming week:

Back to school shopping, cooking new meals and more cafe shops to go! Taking more photos and going out with my friends :))) New blog posts and more activities to do!
